It was here in 1904 that John R. Neill illustrated most of the early Oz books, one of which became the famed Wizard of Oz film. A serene and inspiring historic stone home in New Hope, Writer’s Cottage glows today as it did then, adorned with up-lit sycamores outside and sun-dappled snuggeries inside.?An intimate courtyard and vestibule introduce the extraordinary solarium, its stone walls, beams, and fireplace lending atmosphere to a wondrous panorama of the Delaware River past the terrace.
