For their tantalizing tropical Eden on the Atlantic Ocean north of Palm Beach, the owners wanted to evoke the Old World with a touch of Tuscany. To set the mood, they placed twin cast-stone columns in the foyer. But romance reaches a zenith in the coffered-ceilinged living room, with its Brazilian entertainment center and carved mantel—not to mention the best ocean panorama in the house. Adjacent, the dining room opens to a view-filled veranda, attended by a kitchen that repeats the columns. Stairs and an elevator whisk you to a gathering room, a French-doored master suite with spa, and the guest rooms.
