Inspired by the early 1900s Arts and Crafts designs of Greene & Greene, in 2002 designer Lawrence Tuchman set out to replicate the style for 36 acres in Connecticut. Executed entirely of lustrous hand-rubbed cherry, and with columns of fieldstone and wood, the entertainers’ dream world has taken its place among Roxbury’s noblest estates. From its coffered-ceilinged living room and master suite with skylit spa to its kitchen cupola and nostalgic barn, it pays tribute to the bygone era.
