For over 15 years, Cheryl has been in the high-end golf community industry where she opened new clubs in the Pacific Northwest and Texas.
In 2001, Cheryl was part of the opening team for the Vaquero Club in Westlake, Texas and was involved in the development of the service standards that have made Vaquero an award-winning golf community. She then moved into the sales and marketing division of Vaquero Club as the membership and marketing director, while also overseeing the Club events.
Cheryl has recently teamed with Jeff Watson in real estate sales for the community. Together they bring more than 35 years of specialized experience using a personal approach to find the perfect home or homesite for new members of the Vaquero neighborhood. Using their expertise in the luxury market, Jeff and Cheryl provide a high level of service, confidentiality and professionalism that exemplifies the Vaquero lifestyle.
A graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas in graphic design and University of North Texas with a BFA in photography, Cheryl’s background in the arts strongly influences the creative marketing approaches that have resulted in Vaquero’s distinct branding. Having been in Westlake since 2001, Cheryl has watched the continued development of the Alliance corridor and understands how it has impacted Westlake, Southlake, Trophy Club and Roanoke. Jeff and Cheryl maintain a close relationship with the Westlake Academy, a unique nationally-rated charter school, as well as the town of Westlake in order to provide prospective residents with a complete overview of the distinguished lifestyle available in Westlake.
