Tom Anderson has worked in the luxury sector of residential real estate for over 30 years, 23 of those years in New York City building Sotheby’s from its founding stages into a world-renowned luxury real estate brand.

As a broker in the District of Columbia and six states, Tom has made a name for himself as an elite real estate executive who has personally achieved some of the most impressive and important sales on the East Coast.

In 2010 Tom received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. A co-founder of Washington Fine Properties in 1999, Tom serves as President of the firm, which is recognized as the preeminent real estate firm in the Nation’s Capital Region. The firm is independently owned and has seven offices throughout the Capital Region and the Virginia Hunt Country.

In 2011 and 2012, Washington Fine Properties was awarded the “Highest Sales Volume Per Agent” and the “Highest Average Sales Price Per Transaction” by REALTrends, the leading organization in the Nation who ranks the performance of residential real estate firms and is the source used for the Wall Street Journal ranking published each year.
